Foul Weather

The saying goes, 'You can pick the day, but you can't pick the weather'.

We highly value the health and safety of all persons on board. In the event of foul weather, forecasted or not, the Captain reserves the right for Stop Work Authority to make the decision on whether to cancel the charter or return to the dock earlier than scheduled due to inclement weather conditions. We will live to fish another day! In the event the Captain decides to return to port earlier than the agreed upon schedule, due to inclement weather, the cost of the trip will be prorated accordingly.

Cancellation decisions due to inclement weather are the Captain's responsibility. We will fish in the rain (the fish don't seem to mind if we get wet), but small craft advisories from unfavorable wave conditions, high winds, and/or Special Marine Warnings such as thunder/lightning storms or water spouts, could cause the charter trip to be cancelled and/or rescheduled. In the event of such a cancellation, you have the option to reschedule your trip.
